It began in the kitchen

Gary & Kit have always been passionate about food. Gary & Kit's Napa Valley began in the kitchen while creating a more delicious and nutritious version of traditional GORP (Good Ol' Raisins and Peanuts) for cycling and hiking adventures. Bringing together their favorite dried fruits and nuts, Gary & Kit would roast them, toss them and season them to create Gary & Kit's Napa Valley fruit and nut mixes. The mixes were so delicious that they soon found their way off the trail to dinner parties, holiday gifts and wine pairings. Gary & Kit's Napa Valley was born.

Olive Oil

Making olive oil began as a family project. Picking plump olives from our 85-year-old trees, pressing them, bottling them by hand, then sending the small batch bottles home with family and friends is a much loved tradition. So much so that we've planted an additional 95 Spanish and Greek olive trees on our farm, in order to share our homegrown oils with everyone in the coming years. Until our trees start producing fruit, we've partnered with local olive oil makers to help us create exceptional California extra virgin olive oil.

We've always relied on our homemade fruit and nut mixes to see us through long days on the trail, but we also love them as a tasty anytime snack - wherever the day might find us. Our Gourmet Fruit and Nut Mixes are made up of the finest sun kissed ingredients available, sourced as close to our backyard as possible.
